Privacy PolicyTwin Valley Law, PLLC, is committed to protecting the privacy of confidential and personal information. This statement is intended to summarize the firm’s data protection practices generally and to advise our clients and third parties about the firm’s privacy policies that may be applicable to them. This statement is also addressed to parties who provide personal information to the firm or who visit or use the firm’s website, applications (apps), social media sites, extranets, or email messages that may contain a link to this statement (collectively referred to as “internet services”).

Collection and Use of Personal Information. Twin Valley Law collects personal information while providing legal services to clients and as provided by visitors to the website or other internet services.  Our use of personal information may include but is not limited to communicating with you via email or direct mail; contacting you in response to your requests or inquiries; sending you information about our services; complying with applicable laws, regulations, guidance, or professional obligations that we may be subject to; monitoring, analyzing, or improving our business or website operations; assisting clients or visitors with internet services; providing the client with legal services and otherwise administering the matters as the client instructs; or contacting you regarding information that may be of interest to you such as legal or law firm developments. You may opt out of receiving further information from us by contacting us or, where applicable, by using an “unsubscribe” option included in our communications. We will not sell or give your personally identifying information to other parties for their own direct advertising purposes.

Confidentiality, Security, and Retention of Personal Information. Consistent with our professional obligations, it has always been the policy of Twin Valley Law to exercise the utmost discretion regarding the information our clients entrust to us. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, we maintain reasonable and appropriate, albeit not infallible, physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, but we cannot guarantee that your personal information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this policy.  We require consultants, suppliers, and vendors (collectively “service providers”) to maintain data protections consistent with reasonable and appropriate obligations of data processors. We may retain information provided by you, including personal information, for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, or to achieve the purposes for which the information was originally collected.

Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Information. Twin Valley Law does not disclose personal information about clients or former clients to unrelated parties outside of the firm, except as required or permitted by law.  Such circumstances may include disclosures to our agents, data processors, or other contractors acting on our behalf and at our direction. These disclosures are subject to appropriate confidentiality, privacy, and information security commitments provided by the receiving party, as permitted or required by law, as otherwise authorized or directed by you, or where we believe it necessary to provide a service which you have requested. Consistent with our professional obligations, we may provide personal information to regulatory authorities or law enforcement officials in accordance with applicable law or when we otherwise believe in good faith that the provision of such information is required or permitted by law, such as in connection with the investigation, assertion of our legal defenses, or for compliance matters. No mobile information will be shared with third partiesor affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies. Currently, we only employ a “cookie” for more accurate traffic analysis such as tracking the date and time of the visit, the page viewed, and the referring website. This cookie retains some form submission details. The data that we do collect is never stored in any individual website tracking profile and only serves to update aggregate counts allowing us to monitor site traffic. We may share non-personal, anonymous information collected through cookies with third parties. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you would prefer, you can set your browser to reject cookies.

Changes to this Policy. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time without notice.  Any changes will be made here, and the below modification date will be updated accordingly.
